Kosciuszko second in the Cyprus Rally

Michal Kosciuszko and Maciej Szczepaniak, driving Suzuki Swift 1600, took the second place in the JWRC Cyprus Rally. In the general classification Pole was 17th.

- This is absolutely a very good beggining of the championship for us. Of course I feel a bit unsatisfied, because of the lost we had after the first day. But during Saturday and Sunday we drove really fast and due to that, we have won 7 out of 14 stages  – Michal said. - Our plan for this season is to fight for the junior world champion title. We are going to work really hard to achieve this aim - he added.

The Sunday competition took place on the three special stages, a bit more than 82 kilometres. In the middle of the first stage Pole had some technical problems with the power steering.
- Despite the problems we managed to win 2 out of 3 special stages - Kosciuszko said.
